Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

This policy explains what information Tripfavor (tripfavor.com) collects, how it’s used, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, reach out through our Contact page.

Who we are

Tripfavor is a travel guide website publishing destination guides, itineraries, and planning advice. Our website address is https://tripfavor.com.

Affiliate links and how we’re funded

Tripfavor is supported by affiliate partnerships. Many of the booking links in our guides (for tours, activities, car rentals, airport transfers, eSIMs, and similar travel services) are affiliate links through the Travelpayouts network, connecting to partners such as Klook, AutoEurope, Tiqets, and others. If you click one of these links and make a booking, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Clicking an affiliate link takes you to the partner’s own website, where their privacy policy and terms apply, not ours. We don’t see or store your payment details or booking information from these transactions — that’s handled entirely by the partner.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager and Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, how people arrive here, and general traffic patterns. This data is aggregated and doesn’t identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using Google’s browser opt-out add-on.

Comments

When you leave a comment on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (a “hash”) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you’re using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside your comment.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you can opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in a cookie, so you don’t have to re-enter them next time. These cookies last one year.

We also use analytics cookies (via Google Analytics/Tag Manager, see above) to understand site traffic. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings — doing so may affect how some parts of the site function.

Embedded content and images

Articles on this site may include embedded content (for example, videos or maps) from other websites, which behaves exactly as if you’d visited that other website directly — it may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content.

If you upload images to the site (for example, via a comment or contact form), avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included, as visitors can download and extract that data.

Contact form

If you get in touch through our Contact page, we use the information you provide (such as your name and email address) only to respond to your message. We don’t add you to a mailing list or share this information with third parties.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically, rather than holding them in a moderation queue. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry.

Your rights over your data

If you’ve left a comment on this site, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, or request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This doesn’t include data we’re obligated to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. To make a request, use our Contact page.

Children’s privacy

Tripfavor is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
